Robert started working odd jobs (newspaper delivery, waiting tables) . He founded BRAK Systems in 1990 an internet security integrator—sold to AT&T Canada for $30.2 million in 2000 this was his first taste of Success.
In 2003, launched The Herjavec Group (rebranded later as Cyderes), now a major cybersecurity firm with annual revenues over $200 million and operations across Canada, the U.S., U.K., and India
Robert has served as a cybersecurity advisor to the Canadian government, participated in U.S. White House summits, and is a member of the U.S. Chamber’s cybersecurity task force
